fonts-khmeros software package provides KhmerOS Unicode fonts for the Khmer language of Cambodia, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install fonts-khmeros
fonts-khmeros is installed in your system.
Make ensure the fonts-khmeros package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep fonts-khmeros *
You will get with fonts-khmeros package name, version, architecture and description in a table
